Personal Planning

Life and income cover built around the people who rely on one paycheck. We start with expenses, not with a product name.

Household Protection

Home and auto cover reviewed together, because a driveway, a guest, and a storm rarely respect the boundary between policies.

Health Decisions

A practical reading of benefits, networks, and the out-of-pocket math that shows up after the appointment, not before it.

A Joined Approach

When several policies should agree with each other. We look for gaps between them and for double payments that buy nothing new.

Life insurance

Keep a household standing

Life cover is a transfer of income and obligations to the people who would otherwise absorb both. We talk through who depends on you, for how many years, and which debts should disappear if you do. Then we look at term lengths, permanent designs, and riders only if they solve a named problem.

The beneficiary page gets its own pass. We check that names are legal names, that percentages add to the whole, and that a backup person exists. A beautiful policy with a stale beneficiary is an argument waiting to happen.

We also explain what life cover does not do. It is not a savings plan unless the contract truly builds value, and even then the cost of that value should be visible. If a simpler term policy does the job, we will say so.

Home insurance

Insure the rebuild, not the memory of the price

Home policies fail in predictable ways: the dwelling limit is a market guess, the contents list lives only in someone’s head, and water damage is excluded in the paragraph nobody reads. We separate the building, the contents, the extra living costs, and the liability.

You will leave with questions worth asking an insurer. Is the roof age a problem? Are detached structures included? Does a home business need its own endorsement? What is the actual cash value trap on older belongings?

Renters are not an afterthought. A landlord’s policy almost never covers your furniture or your liability as a tenant. We spell out that difference before a lease is signed, not after a kitchen fire.

Car insurance

Liability first, metal second

The expensive part of an auto loss is often the other person’s injury, not the dent in your door. We start with liability limits, then collision, comprehensive, uninsured motorists, and the deductibles you could pay on a bad Tuesday.

Drivers in the household get listed on purpose. A new driver, a borrowed car, or a vehicle used for deliveries can change the contract. We would rather surface that while everyone is calm.

If you already carry a policy, we read the declaration page against how the car is really used. Pleasure, commute, and business are not synonyms, and the wrong word can become the reason a claim stalls.

Health insurance

Know the bill before the waiting room

Health cover is a stack of rules: who you can see, what must happen first, what you pay before the plan pays, and what remains your share afterward. We turn that stack into a one-page picture for the way your household actually gets care.

We pay special attention to prescriptions, therapies that repeat, and any clinician you refuse to leave. A low premium that excludes your doctor is not a saving. A network map beats a slogan.

This guidance is educational. We do not diagnose, we do not recommend treatment, and we do not promise that a plan will pay a particular bill. We help you ask better questions of the plan and of the clinic.

Income cover

Replace the paycheck, on a clock you can survive

Income protection is about the months when you cannot work and the bills do not care. We calculate a benefit from real expenses, then test waiting periods against savings. A long wait is cheaper and sometimes reckless. A short wait is kinder and sometimes unnecessary.

Definitions matter more here than almost anywhere else. “Own occupation” and “any occupation” are not a wording hobby. They decide whether a skilled person is considered disabled when they can still do some other job.

Owners and freelancers need a different worksheet than salaried employees. We use invoices, not guesses, and we talk about partial disability, residual benefits, and the tax character of the premium in general terms so you can confirm details with your own tax adviser.

Questions people ask before they book

Do you sell the policy itself?

Insurers issue policies and decide claims. Auralis prepares you for that relationship. If you ask us to help you request quotes, we do that as part of the guidance, and the insurer’s offer is still the insurer’s offer.

Can you review a policy I already have?

Yes. Bring the declaration pages and any endorsements. We will tell you what is solid, what is thin, and what is simply unclear. You do not have to switch anything.

How fast is a first conversation?

Most introductory calls last under an hour. A full household review takes longer because the documents deserve a real reading, not a glance.

What should I gather?

A list of people in the household, current policies if you have them, a rough monthly budget, and the losses you most want to avoid. Photos of a home or car help, but they can wait until we know they matter.
